What this covers

New-build structural design carries fewer of the constraints an existing building imposes, but no less responsibility for getting the fundamentals right — buildability, efficiency, and a structure genuinely suited to its site and use.

01

Feasibility & options appraisal

Early structural options, tested against site constraints, cost and buildability before a scheme is committed to.

02

Full structural design

Structural design through to construction issue, coordinated with the wider design team.

03

Foundation & ground engineering

Foundation design responsive to ground conditions, including where a site has constrained or variable geology.

04

Construction-stage support

Site inspections and technical support through to practical completion.

Efficient structure, developed alongside the architecture

New-build projects give structural design more freedom, but that freedom is only useful if it's exercised in close coordination with the architectural and services design — a structure that's efficient in isolation but awkward for the rest of the design team to work around isn't actually a good outcome.

We test structural options against site constraints, buildability and cost from the earliest feasibility stage, so decisions taken early don't quietly close off better options later in the design.
